E9-1-1 Interceptor
makes communicating easy.
In
addition to the reliability of the DISPATCHWorks family of products,
the E9-1-1 Interceptor Box from Baker Integrated Technologies provides
additional support and backup of E9-1-1 trunks. In the event of catastrophic
failure, the E9-1-1 Interceptor Box provides for the continued ability
of answering E9-1-1 calls by automatically routing E9-1-1 calls to a standard
telephone interface, even calls in progress will be rerouted. Calls may
be routed to the on-site PBX and/or other devices such as a standard analog
telephone set.
ANI Display
The E9-1-1 Interceptor Box provides a visual display of the trunk status and the ANI of all incoming calls.
Call Printout
The E9-1-1 Interceptor Box provides a printed record of each call. A standard parallel printer will print out a record of each call received through the printer port of the E9-1-1 Interceptor Box. This printed record includes ANI, time of call received, time of call disconnect, and identify which party disconnected the call (caller or PSAP operator).
Additional Routing of Calls
The E9-1-1 Interceptor Box provides for the fail-safe answering of all E9-1-1 calls. In addition to routing calls in the event of catastrophic failure, the E9-1-1 Interceptor Box monitors all calls received by the PSAP. This allows for the routing of calls in the event that they are not answered by a set number of rings.
